We have had a long and fruitful relationship with the CTFC as we are supportive of design, the endeavours of the Council, and South African Fashion design. We are happy to be sponsoring this show, which is to showcase young emerging talent and which we will be promoting under our South African Designers for Woolworths brand. This will give young designers a great opportunity for commercial retail exposure and further promotes our commitment to fashion design in this country.”

Furthermore the Minister of Finance, Economic Development & Tourism, Alan Winde, stated  “I am delighted that big private players have come on board to support both “The Graduate Show” and “The Emerging Show”.  The provincial government, through the Cape Town Fashion Council, shares their commitment to the creation of opportunities for our young designers.  Through these shows, the hard working participants will take their first steps toward becoming the leaders of fashion in South Africa and indeed the world, and I wish them all my very best.”
