CTFC hosted the prize giving for Foschini AFI Fastrack initiative last Thursday 21st of July at the CTFC offices. Please see here for more background to this developmental initiative benefiting young graduates from design schools.

CTFC congratulates the 3 Fastrack winners. The prizes they received from Brother were:

  • Chelsey Wilson, R5 000
  • Mia Kriek, R10 000
  • Thoki Tafeni, R 20 000 and a Brother Single needle straight lock stitcher with thread trimmer valued at R11 400

The 2 Start up winners from the AFI/ifashion competition were:

  • Fabian Ah-Sing R 5 000 and a Brother embroidery machine valued at R3 320
  • Chelsea Mouton R10 000 and a Brother embroidery machine valued at R62 718 as well an embroidery machine for her college valued at R95 332

The school representatives present were from DAF Nikki St Quintin; from Northlink Adri Bell; from CTCFD Gregg Maragellis; from Elizabeth Galloway Derek Geddes; from CPUT Talita Weideman.
